Veggie Mustache!
Years ago I had the priveledge of hearing Susan Silberstein from beatcancer.org speak. In that talk she said “Milk is cancer’s favorite food,” and it really stuck with me. We weren’t big milk drinkers already; however, this I found quite remarkable – so I began doing my own research and I have come to believe she is absolutely right.
As John Robbins said in his epic book, Diet for a New America, the only purpose milk serves is to turn a 60lb calf into a 600lb cow in 6 months!!
Even without the ADDED growth hormones found in corporate dairy, the NATURAL growth hormones are substantial and adequate to mess with the ADULT physiology. Children are much more able to deal with the growth hormones as their bodies are producing their own already (having said that, the phenomenon of girls beginning their menstration as early as 7 and 8 can be laid at the feet of a high dairy diet).
Adults on the other hand are not meant to be dealing with body chemistry laden in growth hormone and when they do, problems can ensue. These problems are only made worse when the natural enzymes and proteins are killed through pastuerization and homogenization.
The argument around hormones is only one aspect for why you really don’t want to be consuming milk. SUGAR is one of the worst things you can ingest while dealing with the big C – and milk is chalk full of it!
Did you know that radioactive dye they inject in order to image a tumor is actually a sugar serum?? Because the tumor will suck up the sugar and the radioactive isotopes with it – meaning they have to FEED the tumor in order to take a picture of it… And they feed it with sugar… something to note.
